Dr. Nikos Priovoulos defended his Thesis in January 2020 and is now a postdoctorial researcher at the SPINOZA Center with Wietske van der Zwaag.

I obtained my bachelor degree in Computer Engineering in the National Technical University of Athens, which I then followed up with a master degree in Cognitive Neuroscience in Radboud University in Nijmegen.

Since 2015, I have been working with dr. Heidi Jacobs and dr. Benedikt Poser at the Maastricht University, The Netherlands.

I am interested on the effects of physiological arousal on BOLD and on the biological basis of magnetization transfer contrast in MRI.
