About myself
I obtained my bachelor degree in Astronomy at the Pontificia Universidad Católica of Chile (http://astro.uc.cl/en/) and then my (double) master degree in Clinical Medical Physics at the same University and Heidelberg University, Germany (https://www.uni-heidelberg.de/studium/interesse/faecher/medical_physics.html). Since 2015, I am working as a Ph.D. student in the research group of Dr. Alard Roebroeck (main supervisor) and co-supervised by Dr. Benedikt A. Poser at Maastricht University, The Netherlands. From August 2019, I will be working as a Post-doctoral researcher in the group of Dr. Siawoosh Mohammadi at Hamburg University. During my current Ph.D. and following Post-doc I have to work (and I will continue working) in quantitative MR imaging and sequence development.
My research interests are quite broad, but for the sake of efficiency, I am interested in quantitative ex-vivo brain imaging (dwi, swi, relaxometry) in MRI by using customized sequences and reconstruction approaches. If you have any questions you can approach me by email or by the blue bird 😀
